It is a story about bullfight. A Squirrel named Earl fought a bull.

Earl was sent to find acorns on himself. He didn't know what to do. He came to his friend Jill. Jill gave him a acorn, a nutcracker and even a scarlet scarf. Earl was pround of his present. Earl's mother was mad of them. She said Earl was the most spoiled squirrel in the world.

Earl wanted to show his mother he could do that so he crept out at night. With the Great Horned Owl's help, Earl found a giant oak tree. The tree was full of acorns and a bull was snoozing under the tree.

Then the bullfight began...

Earl with his scarlet scarf, scampered his way from the bull's burly back to the bull's nose, just before the bull's eyes. The red color made the bull awfully mad. Earl run off up the tree. The scarlet scarf slipped off his neck. Earl had to turn back and reached down for the scarf. It was just like a matador waving a red cloth to a bull. The bull rush toward the scarf and his horns got stuck in the ree.

The bull pulled and yanked. Earl fell down the tree with a lot of acorns. Earl finally found his very first acorn.
