The Enormous Crocodile was very clever.

At the the beginning of the story, every one said the Enormous Crocodile was foolish. Notsobig One said, "You've never done anything clever in your life! You're the stupidest croc on the whole river!" Every one in the jungle the Enormous Crocodile met said his plan was nasty.

But going with the story, I think the Enormous Crocodile was really very clever. He stood on his tail, arranging branches and coconuts in his month and front feet, pretending to be a coconut tree. He lay across a big wood in the playground, tucking in his feet, pretending to be a see-saw. He crept up on to a roundabout, sat up a bit on his back legs, keeping very still, pretending to be a wooden crocodile. He also arranged a love bunch of flowers on the picnic table and prdtending to be a bench by the table.

Every time, the Enormous Crocodile attracted many children. If there wasn't any animal showing up to warn the children, the Enormous Crocodile must have had eaten them up.

Aunty Hu said the Enormous Crocodile is foolish because he made a wrong decision and he told every one his plan. Aunty Hu said if he hadn't told the animals what he was going to do, the animals couldn't stop him either. It makes sense. But I still insisted that the Enormous Crocodile was very clever.
